Ingredients
- 1 bunch Kale, (about ½ lb)
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- ¼ teaspoon Salt, adjust to taste
Instructions:
Prep & Cut
- Wash and Dry: Wash the kale leaves thoroughly and dry them. You can use a salad spinner if you wash the leaves after cutting them, to ensure they are completely dry.
- Remove Spines: Spread each leaf on a cutting board and cut the leaves from the spine.
- Discard the spine and roughly tear the leaves into smaller pieces.
Season
- Coating: Transfer the kale to a bowl. Toss with olive oil and salt, making sure each leaf is coated with a thin layer of oil.
Air Fry
- Place in Air Fryer: Transfer the kale to the air fryer basket. Note that you may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer and the amount of kale.
- Optional - Use a Rack: If available, cover the kale with an air fryer rack. This prevents the kale from flying around during the air frying process.
- Cooking: Air fry at 350°F for about 6 minutes. Give the basket a shake at the 4-minute mark and keep a close eye on it thereafter.
- Check for Crispiness: The kale chips are ready when they are crisp.
Serve
- Enjoy: Remove them onto a serving plate and enjoy as is, or with your favorite dip such as ranch or a garlicky yogurt dip.

Tips and Tricks
