Tips and Tricks
- The Russet potato is the recommended choice for achieving crispy and golden-brown fries due to its starch content and texture.
- Use a mandoline slicer or a French fry cutter for uniform thin cuts, which is essential for even cooking. Be sure to use the cutting guard to avoid injuries.
- To ensure even cooking and crispiness, cook the fries in a single layer within the air fryer.
- If you're making a large batch or serving them later, keep the fries warm in a low oven. Place them on a cooling rack over a baking sheet to prevent them from getting soggy by steaming.
